COGON REFORESTATION PROJECT
Historical Background:
Cogon Reforestation Project
was established purposely for protection of the forest and
for seed production of the defunct Bureau of Forestry, now
DENR. It was completely reforested and planted to
different varieties of exotic and endemic species with
existing natural growing Dipterocarp species. The area is
a potential source for Clonal Propagation and Biological
Diversity Conservation. |
