They biked together with the other men cyclists but then only few of them belonged to any groups of bikers, though they are not restricted to become members  which is one of the reasons why people can see them very seldom on the road.

Adi Rabulan, President of ZANOBU stated that the group is open to all. No discrimination and most of all, members are treated equally with all the value and respect they need.

Meanwhile, the group is still accepting members especially those who have love and passion for biking. Those interested bikers can see the president at Sea Oil Turno, here in Dipolog or simply visit the official venue and meeting place of ZANOBU in the same area.

The group’s schedule for fun-ride is every Sunday from 8:00 o’clock in the morning and night-ride is every Monday-Wednesday and Friday at 7:00 o’clock in the evening.  Route   will be decided by the bikers when participants are already in the meeting place.

Most of the routes for fun-ride include Dapitan City, Municipality of Polanco, Piñan, Barcelona and Katipunan. While for night-ride, it includes Larayan, Dipolog Airport, Gulayon Feeder Port, Galas and sometimes in Dapitan if there is so much time.

The group has been joining several competitions here in the city, in other municipalities and even in other provinces. And the group is proud that its members were able to prove there competence and capability in every contest bringing the name of the City of Dipolog and the Province of Zamboanga del Norte to other places.

During the Pagsalabuk Festival, ZANOBU actively participated in the 2nd Mountain bike Challenge which was conducted by the BADI in coordination with the City Government of Dipolog. Oliver Ecasama, the pride of the group was the champion in the Junsen Category.

The said activity was done as a way of endorsing the said sport for the purpose of Tourism development of the city and of the province.

Mountain biking is for everybody, whether you are young or old, thin or fat, boy or girl, professional or not, rich or poor, you have the right to be a biker”, a friendly message for the officers and members of ZANOBU.
