Zamboanga del Norte--The Zamboanga del Norte Tissue Culture and Laboratory is continuously doing their services through selling of various kinds of high quality flowers in a very low, low rate such as sanderiana plantlets, Vanda sanderiana, Wild Vanda and other ornamental plants.

Tissue Culture and Laboratory also sells fruits of Lakatan and Lakatan plantlets.  From the month of January to September of this year (2000), it is estimated at about Php72, 980.00 as an income in selling the said plants and fruits.

Laboratory in charge Engr. Jose Cadag Jr. is promising that by next year the income will improve and maybe it can be one of the sources of the Provincial fund.

The Staff of the Provincial Tissue Culture and Laboratory receives a great appreciations     due to some visitors foreign or local who visited in the Laboratory.  Engr. Cadag says:  “From January to November of this year several group arrived, the group of foreigner from Netherlands, and from Asian Institute of Management. The local group of visitors came from Lanao del Norte, Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority, and Zamboanga Free Port and from Pagadian.

The Region 1X chairman of Reproduction and Testing and Training Certificates Board Necito Acedo, and Tesda Legaspi City, Quezon City, and OISCA International, is viewing the various plants and cultured plants such as banana (LAKATAN), other ornamental plants.

Engr. Cadag is inviting those interested persons of the Provincial Tissue Culture and Laboratory that it can be easily located in Upper Turno Dipolog City so that they can be proud of the project of the Provincial Government.
